These terms cover your use of the Dowser browser extension, the local software that ships with it, and this website (together, “Dowser”), a product of Stream Alert LLC. By installing or using Dowser, or buying a license, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Dowser.

Your license

A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Dowser for as long as you like, including every update through version 1.x. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You may use it on the computers you personally use. You may not resell it, share your license key publicly, or redistribute the software.

Free trial

Dowser includes a 5-day trial with full features, starting when you first run it. After the trial, the tools pause until you enter a valid license key. Nothing is deleted; you can activate a key at any time and continue.

Acceptable use

Dowser acts inside your own browser, on your behalf, on sites you choose. You are responsible for how you use it. You agree not to use Dowser to break the law, to violate the terms of the websites you visit, to send spam, to access accounts that aren't yours, or to do anything abusive or harmful. Because Dowser can act automatically, you are responsible for supervising what your AI assistant does with it.

No warranty

Dowser is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Web pages change constantly and automated actions can go wrong; we don't guarantee that Dowser will always find the right element, complete a task, or work on every site. You use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from actions taken by Dowser or your AI assistant. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected here, and continued use means you accept them.
